Embodiment Construction

[0020] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0021] The invention is a method for adaptively allocating physical cell identifiers PCI during the deployment of a wireless communication system in a certain area. PCI is used to uniquely identify each cell at the physical layer. In the self-organizing network technology, the network management server automatically allocates PCIs for new base stations. Different from other automatic configuration methods of PCI, most of them are for inserting a network node (base station) in an already running network, and configuring reasonable PCI for the node. The method of the present invention is applied to a network construction process of a certain scale. The operator has completed operations such as site selection, station building, power-on, and wired co...

Abstract

The invention relates to a PCI (Physical Cell Identity) self-adaptive distribution method in a cellular communication system, which comprises the following two operating steps: (1) initial configuration: a network management server receives respective geographic positions and transiting power information reported by new base stations, judges self configuration application scenes of PCIs of the new base stations on the basis of acquired geographic positions, transmitting power and propagation loss information of the new base stations and base stations operating around the new base stations, automatically selects a PCI initial distribution method indicating that the base stations are preferential or the PCIs are preferential on the basis of the application scenes and distributes PCI resource groups for the new base stations concentratedly according to the selected algorithm; and (2) rationality verification: after acquiring the initial PCIs, all the new base stations are started to enter a pre-operating state and verify whether the initial PCI configuration is rational according to the communication behavior of a terminal; and if conflict or confusion exists, the base stations which have faults are closed immediately, a PCI conflict report, PCI conflict domain information and a PCI reconfiguration request are sent to the network management server, and the network management server reconfigures and issues the PCIs for the base stations which have the faults.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for automatic planning and automatic configuration of wireless parameters in a wireless communication network, to be more precise, relates to a method for adaptively assigning PCI (Physical Cell Identity) based on location information in a wireless cellular network , belongs to the technical field of mobile communication. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of communication technology and data services, the scale of wireless networks is getting larger and larger, multiple communication technologies coexist, and femtocells are introduced, making communication networks increasingly complex. If you still rely on traditional wireless network planning and optimization methods to manually configure a large number of network parameters, the operation difficulty will become more and more complicated, and the cost of network planning, optimization and operation will also become higher and higher. W...
