The ginger is warm in property, and has effects of dispersing wind cold, warming the middle-jiao and enlivening the spleen. The scallion is pungent in flavor and warm in property, and has effects of sweating and relieving the exterior syndrome. The table vinegar matches with the ginger and scallion, and has effects of reinforcing yang qi by combination of pungency and sourness and suppressing excessive dissipation of yang qi. The cilantro has effects of assisting the scallion and ginger to relieve the exterior syndrome, and strengthening vital qi to eliminate pathogens. The sesame oil, table salt and flour all have effects of strengthening stomach qi to eliminate pathogens. Water can nourish the five internal organs, and prevent fluid depletion caused by sweating.
