Abstract

The invention provides a memory page de-weight method and memory page de-weight device based on virtual machine snapshot, which are applied to a virtual machine snapshot system. The method comprises the following steps: a host computer carries out combination processing on memory pages (of the same content) of memory pages corresponding to each virtual machine according to the content of the memory pages corresponding to each virtual machine; and the memory pages (subjected to combination processing) corresponding to each virtual machine are transmitted to a storage system.
