Abstract

The invention relates to an expandable filter tank adopting a flexible soft elastic outer wall. A water inlet weir notch is communicated with a filtering chamber by a water inlet weir plate arranged on one side of the water inlet weir notch; the bottom of the filtering chamber is provided with a backwashing water outlet pipe; a packing chamber is formed inside the filtering chamber; the upper part of the packing chamber is provided with an overlying perforation plate; the flexible soft elastic filter tank outer wall is arranged outside the packing chamber; an auxiliary support of the filter tank outer wall is connected with one end of a lower perforation plate and the other end of the lower perforation plate is connected with the flexible soft elastic filter tank outer wall; an aerator pipe is arranged below the lower perforation plate; a backwashing water channel and an outlet channel which are communicated with the filtering chamber are arranged outside the filtering chamber; the top end of the backwashing water channel is provided with a backwashing water inlet pipe; and one side of the bottom of the outlet channel is provided with a water outlet pipe. According to the invention, thickness of a filter medium is changed as required, so that when the expandable filter tank carries out normal filtering, the requirement for thickness of a designed filter layer can be met; in the backwashing process, height of the filter medium layer is reduced, so that backwashing energy consumption is reduced and backwashing efficiency is improved; and the expandable filter tank has the characteristics of saving energy, reducing consumption and promoting a backwashing effect of the filter medium.
