The invention relates to an enhanced phosphorous undercurrent removing artificial wetland for treating high-phosphorus sewage, which comprises a bed body, a mixed packing layer, a mixed soil layer, a water distribution tank, a water inlet perforation plate, a water outlet perforation plate and a water collecting basin. When the artificial wetland is in work, the sewage enters the water distribution tank and flows into the mixed packing layer through the water inlet perforation plate, then the sewage soaks towards the mixed soil layer slowly, and under the adsorption sedimentation actions of the packing layer and the soil layer and through microbial metabolism, the pollutants such as organic substances, nitrogen and phosphorus and the like in the sewage are removed. Simultaneously, aquatic plants can absorb part of the nitrogen and the phosphorus as nutrition substances supplied to per se metabolism so that advanced treatment is performed on the sewage. The artificial land has the characteristics of simplicity, practicability, high hydraulic load, good nitrogen and phosphorus treatment effect, stable performance, low running cost and the like.
