The invention provides a bank alarm system which comprises a setting unit, a detecting unit, an alarm unit and an account processing unit. The setting unit is configured to correspond to a bank account, provide an alarm password different from a conventional password and associate the alarm password with user identity information; the detecting unit is configured to detect whether an inputted password is the alarm password or not; the alarm unit is configured to transmit the user identity information and an alarm signal to a public security system when the alarm password is detected; and the account processing unit is configured to keep operation for a bank account by the alarm password on a receiving terminal generally consistent with operation for the bank account by the conventional password on the receiving terminal when the alarm password is detected. In addition, the invention further provides a bank alarm method.
