The method and the device are used for solving the problem of confliction of IP addresses of every board card connected to base bands in a base band pool under a C-RAN framework in the prior art. Virtual machine frame numbers are distributed for every BBU which is to be connected to the base band pool, the virtual machine frame numbers distributed for every BBU can uniquely identify the BBU in the base band pool, the IP addresses are distributed for every board card in the BBU according to the virtual machine frame numbers distributed for the BBU, uniqueness of the IP addresses in the base band pool is guaranteed, and accordingly the problem of confliction of the IP addresses of the board cards in the base band pool under the C-RAN framework is solved.
