Abstract

The invention discloses a method for XML-based data transmission between SAP systems. Data content and formats are encapsulated in the standard XML so as to realize data transmission between the SAP systems. Architectural differences of system business data can be shielded, and particularly, interface definition differences between the systems can be shielded by application of the standard data type STRING, and thus, data interface unification can be realized.
