Benefits of technology

The technical effect that this new technology allows us to make it faster than previous methods by only one minute or two while still doing everything we want done effectively without wasting too much energy on other parts of our system's circuitry.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed by this patents relates to improving methods used during testing suspension particles from waste waters containing large amounts of solid matter such as sand or clay (represented collectively called “solid”). Current filtering techniques are difficult due to their small pores, making them hard-to use accurately even when tested multiple hours ago.

Embodiment Construction

[0015] In order to allow those skilled in the art to understand the present invention more clearly and intuitively, the present invention will be further described below.

[0016] A method for filtering suspended matter in water, comprising the steps of:

[0017] (1) Membrane treatment

[0018] Use tweezers to pick up the microporous filter membrane, put it in a weighing bottle with constant weight, move it into an oven and dry it at 103-105°C for 1 hour, then take it out and put it in a desiccator to cool to room temperature, weigh it, and repeat the drying, Cooling and weighing operations, repeat the drying time to 30 minutes, until the weight difference between the two weighings is less than 0.2mg;

[0019] (2) Place the obtained microporous membrane with constant weight on the membrane tray of the membrane filter correctly, cover the matching funnel, and fix it with clips, moisten the membrane with distilled water, and continuously suction and filter;

Abstract

The invention provides a filtering method for suspended matters in water. The method comprises the following steps: clamping a microfiltration membrane with a pair of tweezers, putting the microfiltration membrane into a constant-weight weighing bottle, transferring the microfiltration membrane to a baking oven for drying, then cooling the microfiltration membrane to room temperature, weighing the weight of the microfiltration membrane and carrying out repeated drying, cooling and weighing until the difference between weight values obtained in two weighing is less than 0.2 mg; correctly putting the obtained microfiltration membrane with a constant weight on the filter membrane pallet of a filter membrane filter, covering a matching funnel, fixing the funnel with a clip, wetting the microfiltration membrane with distilled water and carrying out continuous suction filtration; and weighing a sample for suction filtration, continuously washing the sample with distilled water three times, continuing suction filtration to remove a trace amount of moisture, taking the microfiltration membrane out, putting the microfiltration membrane in the original constant-weight weighing bottle, transferring the microfiltration membrane to the baking oven for drying, then transferring the microfiltration membrane into a drier, then cooling the microfiltration membrane to room temperature, weighing the weight of the microfiltration membrane and carrying out repeated drying, cooling and weighing until the difference between weight values obtained in two weighing is less than 0.4 mg. According to the invention, primary drying time is prolonged, drying frequency is reduced, time for drying is shortened, and work efficiency is improved.
