In a laundry washing / drying machine involving drying by a heat pump cycle, in an initial stage of the drying operation the heat within an air circulation path is deficient and therefore it is impossible to effect quick heating of air on a drum inlet side up to a sufficiently high temperature. According to the present invention there is provided a drying unit capable of raising the drum inlet air temperature quickly up to a sufficiently high temperature in an initial stage of the drying operation and thereby shortening the drying time. The drying unit includes a heat pump cycle device for performing a cycle of radiating, with use of a radiator, the heat of a refrigerant compressed by a compressor, passing the refrigerant through a pressure reducing / expansion valve, evaporating the refrigerant in an evaporator and compressing the refrigerant again by the compressor, an air circulation path for allowing air to be circulated by a blower in such a manner that air heated by the radiator is introduced into a drying chamber to dry the laundry, exhaust air discharged from the drying chamber is passed through the evaporator, then is heated again by the radiator and the air thus dehumidified is circulated by the blower, and an external heat source applying device for applying the heat of an external heat source to the evaporator to quicken the rise in temperature of the air in an initial stage of the drying operation.

The described invention is an unique universal ink jet media. The invention incorporates a unique barrier layer based upon UV or EB curable chemistry which replaces common polyethylene extruded bases. The invention also incorporates multiple ink receptive layers. The first layer is based upon gelatin and / or polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) chemistries and gives the invention excellent ink drytime. Poor drytime is a common problem which leads to smudging and print defects, especially as ink jet printer speeds increase as technology improves. The high ink absorbency of the invention also makes this media well suited for wide format ink jet printers. The next ink receptive layer(s) are based upon pigmented, cellulose chemistry which reduces the tack of the sheet and gives the sheet good waterfastness. This is important for the end use in that the sheet may be frequently handled and exposed to dampness. Another unique property provided by the next ink receptive layer(s) is excellent print quality across a wide range of printers and ink sets (both dye and pigmented), in which other media perform poorly. A final unique property is an anti-curl coating which resists curling as the ambient conditions change from cold and dry to hot and humid.

After washing, the hands are dried rapidly and comfortably by using a shaped high speed flow of heated air. The air flows in a direction controlled by an air outlet shaped to retain much of the exiting forceful air flow and temperature at a distance where the hands are dried. The air entrainment is controlled so that the properties of the air flow are not diluted by the air entrainment to a point where the drying performance is degraded. The forceful air flow blows off most of the loose water on the hands. The forceful air flow also reduces the stagnation boundary layers in the hands so that the evaporation removal of the remaining film of water is improved. These result in reduced drying time and comfort during and after drying.

Higher organic inks with good reliability and drytime

An inkjet ink is provided that has a greater organic content than prior art inks. However, it is not simply enough to increase the organic content; other factors must be considered as well. These include controlling viscosity and surface tension, as well as maintaining acceptable drytime. An inkjet ink composition that evidences reduced outgassing and reduces paper cockle and curl comprises about 25 to 50 wt % of one or more organic co-solvents, has a viscosity of 10 cp or less, and has a surface tension of 40 dyne / cm or less. Advantageously, using a higher solvent ink reduces cockle and curl. Cockle and curl are also reduced as the water content of the ink is reduced. The present invention uses the higher solvent inks in combination with underprinting. In underprinting, a fixer solution is first "printed" on the print medium, followed by printing the inkjet ink thereon. There is a synergism to this combination. Together, weaknesses of both approaches are addressed. The advantages are a longer life pen, due to the reduction of outgassing of the ink, and reduced cockle and curl.

The catalyst comprises the following components in weight percent: 80-99% of TiO2, 0.1-2% of V2O5 and 5-10% of WO3. The method selects the TiO2 with the special specific surface area as the carrier, simultaneously adds the proper forming assistants and combines the special preparation techniqueso as to obtain the faviform denitrified catalyst with high strength and favorable forming performance and enhance the denitration activity of the catalyst; when the trial denitration test is carriedout on the faviform denitrified catalyst in a small-size coal burning boiler, the airspeed is 5000 / hr, and the concentration of NOX is about 100 ppmv; when the fume temperature is 350 DEG C, the denitration efficiency reaches 95%; and after long-term operation, the denitration efficiency is still above 80%.
