Abstract

The invention provides a geographic position information identification method, an apparatus thereof and a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal comprises a shell capable of achieving color change. The method includes the following steps: acquiring the current geographic position information of the mobile terminal; determining color information corresponding to the current geographic position information to generate a color control instruction including the color information; and executing the color control instruction to control the color change of at least parts of the shell according to the color information. The current geographic position information or the current geographic position change information can be directly identified through the color change of the shell via the method, the apparatus and the mobile terminal, so the information input and acquiring efficiency is improved.
