Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a wireless access point (AP) connecting method and device. The method comprises: acquiring the current geographic position of a terminal when detecting that a wireless connecting module is turned on; determining a target historical wireless AP in pre-stored historical wireless APs according to the current geographic position of the terminal, wherein the distance between the current geographic position of the target historical wireless AP and the current geographic position of the terminal is less than or equal to a preset distance threshold value; determining whether a target available wireless AP matching the target historical wireless AP exists in current scanned available wireless APs; and if yes, establishing a wireless connection with the target available wireless AP. The method and the device in the embodiment of the invention may improve the connection efficiency of the WIFI AP.
