Problems solved by technology

[0020] The current 3GPP-defined method for obtaining user access location information on the network side has a serious problem, that is, it will increase the call connection delay, because when the invite call message passes through the P-CSCF network element, the P-CSCF network element needs to query the PCRF , the PCRF then queries the PCEF, and the P-CSCF needs to wait for the access location information of the user before forwarding the call request, which will inevitably consume a certain amount of time and increase the call connection delay
One of the highlights of VoLTE technology is lower call connection delay. However, the current method of obtaining user access location information on the network side will inevitably increase call connection delay and affect user service experience.

Embodiment Construction

[0038] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0039] Such as image 3 and Figure 4 As shown, a method for obtaining user access location information on the network side of a VoLTE scenario of the present invention is characterized in that: when the P-CSCF receives the call request from the calling party, the P-CSCF queries the PCRF for the user access location information. When the PCRF inquires the PCEF and feeds back the user access location information to the P-CSCF, the P-CSCF carries the user access request through the reInvite message. The access location information is notified to the subsequent network elements, so that the subsequent network elements can implement different policies according to the user access location information.

[0040] After the P-CSCF receives the calling invite call request, it notifies the PCRF to establish a dedicated bearer through the AAR request, w...

Abstract

The invention discloses a VoLTE scene-based method for acquiring user access location information at a network side. The method includes the following steps that: when receiving a calling party invite call request, a proxy call session control function (P-CSCF) inquires the user access location information from a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) without waiting for a location information query and acquisition process of the PCRF, and directly forwards the invite call request to a subsequent network element; and when the PCRF feeds back the user access location information to the P-CSCF after querying a policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF), and the P-CSCF notifies the subsequent network element through carrying the user access location information by a re-invite massage, so that the subsequent network element can execute different policies according to the user access location information. With the method of the invention adopted, waiting for a location information acquiring process of the PCRF and PCEF is not required, so that invite call request get-through delay can be greatly shortened, and therefore, service experience and feelings of users can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technologies, in particular to a method for IP multimedia subsystems to obtain user access location information for service requests such as user voice in a long-term evolution access network scenario, specifically a method for obtaining user access location information on the network side of a VoLTE scenario. Method for accessing location information. Background technique [0002] VoLTE (Voice over LTE) means that end users access the packet core network (Evolved Packet Core, EPC) through the Long Term Evolution network (LTE for short), and then the IP Multimedia Subsystem network (IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS for short) ) Provide users with high-quality audio and video services. VoLTE does not require all services of 2G / 3G networks to be carried on the 4G network, and realizes the unification of data and voice services under the same network. LTE is an access network, EPC provides bearer f...
