Abstract

The invention relates to a texturing machine having a plurality of processing points for drawing and texturing a plurality of threads. A plurality of winding devices are allocated to the processing points, via which the plurality of threads can be wound into coils. The processing points each have a plurality of processing assemblies which are held in a machine frame. According to the invention, the processing assemblies of a group of adjacent processing points occupy a machine width which is equal to a frame width of one of the winding devices, wherein the winding devices are held one over another forming a plurality of levels in the machine frame and, together with the processing assemblies of the allocated processing points, form a machine cross-section. In order to maintain as high a density of processing points in the machine frame as possible, according to the invention the winding devices arranged one over another forming levels have one freely overhanging spool per level to which a plurality of winding points per level are allocated.
