Problems solved by technology

In this method, the response curve of the camera needs to be used. The response curve is an inherent property of the camera, which needs to be provided by the camera manufacturer or obtained by calculation, but it is time-consuming.

Embodiment Construction

[0052] Reference figure 1 , The implementation steps of the present invention are as follows:

[0053] Step 1, image layering

[0054] Input source images with different exposures, and divide the image into two layers through a bilateral filter, the detail layer I det And base I base ,Specific steps are as follows:

[0055] 1a) Put different exposure pictures I i , After the bilateral filter, wait until the smoothed picture, the smoothed picture is used as the base layer I base , The bilateral filter can save the edges and details of the picture while the picture is smoothed. The bilateral filter is as follows:

[0056] BF [ I ] p = 1 W p X q A S G σ d ( | | p - q | | ) G σ r ( I p - I q ) I q

[0057] among them, W p = X q A S G σ d ( | | p - q | | ) G σ r ( I p - I q ) , G σ d ...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, and particularly discloses a multi-exposure image integration method based on bilateral filtering. The method comprises the steps that (1) three static pictures of the same scene of different exposures are inputted; (2) the originally inputted pictures are divided into two parts of a detail layer and a basic layer based on a bilateral filter and then the detail layer and the basic layer are processed respectively; (3) weight of the basic layer is estimated by applying a Gaussian curve and weight is updated by applying picture saturation information; (4) an intermediate integration picture is preliminarily integrated by the updated weight; (5) the maximum value of each detail layer is obtained to act as a detail picture as for the detail layer; and (6) a final integration picture is obtained by synthesizing the obtained intermediate integration picture and the detail picture. Calculation complexity is low, and the details of the picture can be fully protected in the integration picture and the picture is enabled to be more natural in the aspect of color. The multi-exposure image integration method based on bilateral filtering can be widely applied to the field of image enhancement or cameras.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, and is specifically a multi-exposure image fusion method based on bilateral filtering, which can be used to fuse pictures with different exposure degrees into an image with more perfect detail information and color information. Background technique [0002] The range of light intensity in nature is very wide, from direct sunlight to starlight, and its magnitude spans nine levels (10 -4 -10 5 cd / m 2 ), but relative to the dynamic range of the natural world, the dynamic range that the human visual system can capture is only about five brightness levels. Existing ordinary cameras or monitors cannot directly display such a large dynamic range. However, the improvement of hardware to increase the dynamic range of the displayed image is too expensive. Therefore, some people have proposed to capture pictures with different exposures. Let's use software to synthesize a picture with high dynamic range...
