According to the method, fertilization holes are drilled around a tree-crown drip line of a horticultural tree; a PVC pipe is arranged in each fertilization hole; and a nutrient carrier material with loosening, ventilation, water retention and fertilizer retention functions, fertilizers needed for the tree, and water are applied into the fertilization holes together.
