Abstract

The invention provides an encoding method for a circuit diagram characteristic string. The encoding method comprises four steps: encoding a pin characteristic string; encoding a branch equivalent characteristic string; encoding a node characteristic string; and encoding a circuit diagram characteristic string. The encoding method can map a two dimensional circuit diagram into a one dimensional string by setting an encoding and ordering rule, and can define the obtained one dimensional string as a circuit diagram characteristic string. By extracting and comparing the circuit diagram characteristic strings of two circuits, the encoding method can determine whether the two circuits are consistent. If the circuit diagram characteristic strings of two circuits are completely consistent, the two circuit diagrams belong to the same circuit; and if not, the two circuits are different circuits. Therefore, the encoding method can be used for simulating a circuit design practice system to realize comparison between a standard circuit and a circuit designed by a student.
