Problems solved by technology

[0005] Some studies have rejuvenated ancient trees by docking, but the effect is not obvious, and the success rate of docking is not high. Therefore, the use of docking technology to rejuvenate ancient trees has not been promoted, and there are no related articles on the specific reasons. It is reported that, therefore, it is of great significance to improve the success rate of docking of ancient trees and successfully realize the renewal and rejuvenation of ancient trees.

Abstract

The invention discloses a grafting method for renewing and rejuvenating an ancient tree. The grafting method comprises the steps of ridging before ancient tree grafting, wherein high-quality soil with the thickness about 25 cm is added at the position in the range of a circle which has the radius of 2 m by taking a trunk of the ancient tree as a circle center; grafting material selecting, wherein potted strong seedlings of one to three years old and plants with bent seedling trunks and well-developed root systems are selected; grafting time selecting, wherein sunny days from late March to mid April are selected; grafting portion selecting, wherein the portions which are located on the base of the tree trunk and are about 10 cm away from the ridged portion are selected. An inlaid-type multi-point inarching method is selected, multiple strong seedlings (the number is specifically determined according to the thickness of the trunk of the ancient tree) are inarched along the base of the ancient tree, and the plant spacing is about 20 cm. The growth and development conditions of the grafted seedlings and the recover condition of the tree are both good. The treated ancient tree can basically recover exuberant vitality and vigor in a short time of 1-2 years, and the rejuvenating effect is very obvious.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of plant protection, relates to the regeneration and rejuvenation technology of ancient trees, and more specifically relates to a grafting method for the regeneration and rejuvenation of ancient trees. Background technique [0002] Existing grafting techniques are usually aimed at saplings or adult trees. For example, grafting techniques such as branch grafting, bud grafting, leaning grafting, pith cambium bonding, etc. listed in "Forest Cultivation" and "Fruit Cultivation". [0003] These grafting techniques are not to connect two trees as a whole, but to graft a part of a tree organ (such as buds, branches, etc.) to another tree. This method is mainly used in nursery stock cultivation and tree species improvement, rather than in old tree regeneration and old tree rescue, so the existing grafting technology cannot solve the problem of old tree rescue. The reason is that these existing technologies are not...
