[0081] Recruitment criteria: Acute ischemic stroke patients with intracranial large vessel stenosis and good temporal window within 7 days of onset.

[0082] Exclusion criteria: cardiogenic stroke due to atrial fibrillation and rheumatic valvular heart disease; cerebral hemorrhage confirmed by brain CT; arteriovenous malformation, arteriovenous fistula and aneurysm; hypertension (systolic blood pressure>180mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure>100mm Hg); severe symptomatic peripheral vascular disease; previous history of cerebral hemorrhage or malignancy; evidence of coexisting systemic diseases such as renal failure (creatinine>300mmol / L), thrombocytopenia (platelet count3 ); dementia and pregnancy.

[0083] At the same time, healthy volunteers older than 45 years without cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and any risk factors were recruited as the control group.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for evaluating the automatic regulation function of cerebral blood flow of an individual. The method comprises the following steps that 1, external counterpulsation operation is applied to the individual; 2, continuous blood pressure monitoring and cerebral blood flow speed monitoring are conducted on the individual before the external counterpulsation operation, during the external counterpulsation operation and after the external counterpulsation operation; 3, blood pressure changes and cerebral blood flow speed changes, responding to the external counterpulsation operation, of the individual are recorded, and the automatic regulation function of the cerebral blood flow of the individual is evaluated on the basis of the changes. The invention further provides a system for implementing the method.

Description

technical field [0001] This application relates generally to the medical field. More specifically, the present application provides methods and systems for evaluating cerebral blood flow autoregulation using external counterpulsation techniques. [0002] Background of the invention [0003] External counterpulsation (ECP) is a non-invasive method to increase blood perfusion of organs, and its therapeutic effect has been confirmed by evidence-based medical research. At present, China, the United States, and some European countries have incorporated external counterpulsation into the treatment guidelines for the treatment of ischemic heart disease. The inventors of the present application have carried out a test of external counterpulsation in the treatment of ischemic stroke and confirmed that it can improve the clinical prognosis of patients with acute stroke. [0004] Cerebral autoregulation (CA) ability refers to the ability of cerebral blood vessels to maintain a relativ...
