The ice maker comprises a shell, an ice making plate and a water cycling system, wherein a cold air inlet used for introducing cold air of the refrigerator into the shell and a hot air outlet used for discharging hot air out of the shell are formed in the shell; the ice making plate is arranged in the shell, and a plurality of columns of ice cube molds sunken inwards are arranged in the front side of the ice making plate obliquely relative to the horizontal plane; the water cycling system is arranged to enable water to cyclically flow through the ice cube molds so as to conduct heat exchange through cold air flowing from the cold air inlet to the ice cube molds and enable at least part of water to be cooled and frozen. According to the ice maker provided by the invention, a refrigerating system does not need to be additionally arranged; manual water adding operation by a user is omitted through the arrangement of the water cycling system, and the ice maker is quite easy and convenient to use. Besides, when water cyclically flows through the ice cube molds, the water is slowly frozen on the ice cube molds layer by layer, ice is continuously thickened until the ice cube molds is filled with ice.
