The air purification method includes the steps of: (1) acquiring the relevant information of human activity time in a target purification space; (2) based on the relevant information of human activity time, starting the air purification system by a first mode at a first preset time before a corresponding activity time; and (3) based on the relevant information of human activity time, stopping the first mode at a second preset time before a corresponding activity time, and starting the air purification system by a second mode. The air purification method provided by the invention can drive a high pressuredischarge device to output two discharge voltages, one has high purification efficiency, and the other does not produce ozone.
