Abstract

The invention discloses a bill-of-material data operation method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of traversing all data nodes of a bill of material and setting a corresponding identifier for each data node in the bill of material, wherein the identifier of each data node contains at least one sub ID or sub ID group, and the identifiers of the previous data node and current data node meet the condition that each sub ID of the previous node corresponds to a sub ID group in the current node, the sub ID group is a combination of N sub IDs, and N is a product of quantities of all the nodes on a path from a root node to the current data node; and displaying a structure among the data nodes according to the identifiers of all the data nodes. A data identifier format provided by the method adopted by the invention is used for identifying node data after the BOM is designed to generate a process BOM and the structure of the process BOM is adjusted; a product model position corresponding to the adjusted node can be viewed; and accurate management of product structure data is realized.
