The method comprises the following steps: preparing a series of standard SBS content modified asphalts with different dosages of SBS series; using the standard SBS content modified asphalts to determine the content of SBS protection components in a special separating agent; preparing SBS modified asphalt sample sheets; placing SBS modified asphalt sheets to be tested in a special separation solvent for ultrasonic oscillation and dissolution at room temperature; filtering a sample solution with quantitative filter paper; drying and cooling a conical flask and then weighing; placing the filter paper and residues into an asphaltene extractor; using the SBS protection components for reflux extraction; drying and cooling the filter paper and the residues and then weighing; and calculating the content of SBS in the sample.
