The method, which is applied to a PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function), comprises the following steps: receiving a request of an application function AF for subscribing a user location information change event; and when the user location information changes, actively reporting new user location information to the AF. According to the user location information processing method disclosed by an embodiment of the invention, the AF subscribes to the user location information change event from the PCRF, and when the user location information changes, the PCRF reports new user location information to the AF in real time so the AF can acquire accurate user location information in time. Moreover, one-way flow of signaling is realized, there is no need for the AF to frequently query for user location information from the PCRF, and the frequency of interactionamong the AF, the PCRF and a PCEF ((Policy and Control Enforcement Function) is greatly reduced. Therefore, the system load is greatly reduced, and the delay is reduced.
