Abstract

The plurality of battery sets are in layered and superposed arrangement, the sheet metals are arranged between the adjacent two layers of battery sets and are attached to and connected with the layers of battery sets to which the cathodes face, the intumescence fire-retardant coatings are coated on the surfaces facing the cathodes of the battery sets or are coated on both the surfaces, and the total controller controls the active equalization systems and the overcharging and overdischarging protection switch. The active equalization systems of the battery pack enable the voltage difference of the battery sets during the charging and discharging processes to be reduced effectively, thereby preventing the battery pack from being overcharged and overdischarged. Meanwhile, no electrical / electronic switch is used in the battery pack to control a current loop, thereby eliminating the potential safety hazards brought by that a current flows through the electrical / electronic switch to generate the heat.
