Problems solved by technology

This method can indeed generate an image with HDR effect through a single exposure LDR image, but its disadvantage is that for different images, it is necessary to manually adjust a set of exposure parameters in order to make the fused image have an ideal effect

Embodiment Construction

[0059] Embodiments of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0060] Step 1. Based on the acquisition of the double-gamma transformation value of the image statistical characteristics, calculate the double-gamma transformation value of the input LDR original image. The calculation process includes the following three small steps:

[0061] (1) Partition the image: partition according to the statistical characteristics of the image. In an image, the ratio of the number of occurrences of any brightness value i to the total number of pixels in the image is the probability of brightness i, because usually the Y channel The value better reflects the brightness of the pixel, where i is the brightness value of the Y channel of any image, and the calculation formula is as follows:

[0062]

[0063] N i Indicates the number of pixels with brightness i, and N is the total number of pixels in the image. The cumu...

Abstract

The invention provides an HDR image generating method based on self-adaptive double gamma transform. The method comprises the steps of: firstly, based on the acquisition of the double gamma transformvalue of the statistical property of images, calculating the double gamma transform value of an input LDR original image; secondly, performing gamma transform on the input image; thirdly, performing exposure fusion on the two generated images. Compared with the prior art, the method can rapidly re-lock a current converter under the condition of small circuit currents, thereby effectively preventing reclosure from causing secondary overcurrent impact on a system and achieving a positive effect of low current harm. The invention provides a simplified algorithm for converting an input LDR image to an image with an HDR effect, and the implementation process is simple and the complexity is low; the method is free of manual parameter testing and can obtain corresponding transform parameters through self-adaptive calculation for different input images, so that the process is more intelligent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of image processing, in particular to a high dynamic range (HDR) image generation method. Background technique [0002] High dynamic range (HDR) images are a major breakthrough in the field of digital images in recent years. Compared with low dynamic range (LDR) images, they can present a dynamic range closer to what the human eye can capture, with richer details . With the emergence and popularization of HDR display terminal equipment, the demand for high dynamic range images and video content has also increased significantly. An effective way to obtain HDR content is to use existing content resources to convert LDR content resources into HDR content resources. [0003] In order to directly realize the conversion of single-exposure low dynamic range image content into images with high dynamic range effects, many researchers have adopted the method of inverse tone mapping operator, which uses linear or non...
