Embodiment 1

[0096] In view of the fact that the method of the present invention is applicable to a WiMAX wireless communication system, the WiMAX communication standard is selected to set parameters.

[0097] Specific parameter scheme: the subcarrier number N=256 of the OFDM signal, the number L of the inserted three-dimensional signal is set to 8, 16 and 55 respectively, the channel is an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) environment, and the average power of sending the OFDM signal is 1 , the two-dimensional signal mapper adopts a quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) constellation diagram, and the three-dimensional signal mapper adopts an octal three-dimensional signal constellation diagram. The specific QPSK and octal three-dimensional signal constellation diagrams are as follows Figure 4 As shown, the three-dimensional signal mapping scheme adopts the principle of centrosymmetry, that is, two centrosymmetric three-dimensional signals represent the same 2-bit information, such as ...

[0100] Under WiMAX standard conditions, the specific parameter scheme: the number of subcarriers of OFDM signal N=256, the number L of three-dimensional signals to be inserted is set to 8, 16 and 55 respectively, the channel is an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) environment, and the OFDM The average power of the signal is 1, the two-dimensional signal mapper adopts a 16QAM constellation diagram, and the three-dimensional signal mapper adopts a thirty-binary three-dimensional signal constellation diagram. The specific 16QAM and thirty-binary three-dimensional signal constellation diagram is as follows Figure 5 As shown, the three-dimensional signal mapping scheme adopts the principle of centrosymmetry, that is, two centrosymmetric three-dimensional signals represent the same 4-bit information, such as Figure 5 As shown in (b), S 0 and S' 0 , S 1 and S' 1 , to S 15 and S' 15 Equality represents the same bit information, and the insertion three-dimensional signal seq...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for reducing a peak-to-average power ratio of an OFDM system based on three-dimensional signal insertion. Based on a traditional DSI method, a process of inserting three-dimensional signals into OFDM signal sub-carriers instead of inserting a traditional virtual sequence that does not include information is proposed, each three-dimensional signal occupies two sub-carriers, and compared with the traditional DSI method, the data transmission efficiency is not reduced. Since a three-dimensional signal constellation diagram provides a greater degree of search freedom, the peak-to-average power ratio of the OFDM system can be more effectively improved under the same search complexity and system data transmission efficiency, and no sideband informationneeds to be transmitted. In addition, compared with the mode of inserting two-dimensional signals, without changing the average power of transmitted OFDM signals, the three-dimensional signal constellation diagram has a larger minimum Euclidean distance, and thus the error performance of the system can also be improved to a certain extent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to a method and system for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio of an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system based on three-dimensional signal insertion. Background technique [0002] Due to the advantages of high spectrum utilization, effective anti-frequency selective fading and easy implementation, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology has been widely used in various wireless communication systems, such as wireless local area network (WLAN), wireless metropolitan area network, etc. (WMAN) and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX). One of the main disadvantages of OFDM systems is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). High PAPR requires that the power amplifier at the sending end of the system has a large linear range, otherwise, when the signal exceeds the linear range of the amplifier, the signa...
