Abstract

The present invention provides an audio object encoding and decoding method suitable for streaming media. During encoding, multiple input audio object signals are first preprocessed to obtain data blocks composed of multi-frame audio object signals and corresponding monophonic channels containing all objects. Mixed signal; calculate gain matrix, extract ODLR parameter matrix; obtain low-dimensional coefficient matrix and base matrix through matrix decomposition of gain matrix and parameter matrix; finally combine mixed signal, coefficient matrix, and base matrix into code stream; firstly divide decoding stream when decoding , reconstruct the parameter matrix according to the coefficient matrix and the basis matrix; then reconstruct the audio object signal according to the parameter matrix and the mixed signal. This method supports the transmission of audio data in the form of data blocks, which can be applied to streaming media application scenarios; and improves the parameter frequency domain resolution, and uses the method based on weighted matrix decomposition to reduce the code rate required for parameter encoding, which can ensure low bit rate and high quality to reconstruct the audio object signal.
