Abstract

The invention discloses an optical network unit terminal with adjustable power and a control method thereof. The optical network unit terminal comprises a central control station, an optical line terminal unit, an optical distribution network unit and an optical network unit. The central control station is provided with a network management to receive adjustment of an alarm triggering pump light source power supply and realize different pump light power outputs. The optical line termination unit comprises an OLT device, and one end of the OLT device is connected with a network management of acentral control station. The optical distribution network unit comprises a beam splitter, and one end of the beam splitter is connected with an OLT device through a backbone optical cable; The opticalnetwork unit (ONU) consists of several new ONU terminal equipments, each ONU terminal equipments consists of an optical filter, optical coupler, erbium doped fiber, pump light source and traditionalONU terminal equipments.
