Abstract

The invention discloses an initial credential generating method of a virtual network function (VNF) and equipment thereof, wherein the method and the equipment are used for reducing exposure probability of a public key. The method comprises the steps of in a VNF instantiation process, generating a first public key and a report of the VNF by a virtual network function instance (VNFI); wherein the report and the first public key satisfy a preset function relation; and transmitting the first public key and the report to management equipment of the VNFI by the VNFI so that the management equipmentverifies the received first public key by means of the received report.
