The invention provides a rice disinfectant which is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of Fukan giantfennel resin residue, 70-100 parts of membranous milkvetch root residue, 110-180 parts of eucommiabark residue, 120-200 parts of grassleaf sweetflag leaf residue, 100-110 parts of bunge pricklyash pericarp, 120-140 parts of florists chrysanthemum flower residue, 100-180 parts of betelnutpalm seedpeels, 100-140 parts of earthworm residue, 100-120 parts of diverse wormwood herb residue and 20-30 parts of boric acid. The disinfectant has good compatibility, diseases and insect pests such as root rot diseases, rice blast and banded sclerotial blight can be prevented and treated rice is disinfected by the rice disinfectant before rice seedlings are cultured, and the yield and the quality of rice are improved.
