Abstract

The invention provides a network congestion notifying method, a proxy node, and a computer device, and belongs to the field of data communication. When receiving a first data packet, the proxy node adds a source queue pair number to the first data packet to obtain the second data packet, and sends a second data packet to a receiving end through a network node. During the forwarding of the second data packet, the network node generates a first congestion notification message carrying the source queue pair number if the network congestion is detected, and sends the first congestion notificationmessage to the proxy node, and then the proxy node sends the congestion notification message to a sending end, so that the sending end reduces the sending rate of the data stream to which the first data packet belongs. Because the network node in the present invention detects the congestion of the network, the network node immediately sends the first congestion notification message to the sendingend, so that the sending end can reduce the sending rate of the data stream to which the first data packet belongs in time, thereby avoiding the loss of a follow-up messages of the data stream.
