The invention discloses a mobile device, a communication band switch method thereof, and a storage device. The mobile device supports a first communication band and a second communication band. The method comprises steps that the mobile device detects whether a switch operation for the first communication band and the second communication band exists; whether times for switching between the firstcommunication band and the second communication band in a first time period is greater than a preset threshold is determined; if yes, the mobile device is prohibited from responding to a switching instruction for the first communication band and the second communication band; and after a second time period, the mobile device is allowed to respond to the switching instruction for the first communication band and the second communication band. Through adoption of the method, communication efficiency is improved.
