Embodiment Construction

[0092] "Some embodiments", "an embodiment" or other similar terms mentioned in the present disclosure means that the feature, function, structure or characteristic is included in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure. The appearances of such terms in this disclosure are not necessarily all referring to the same embodiment. On the other hand, the various embodiments referred to in the present disclosure are not mutually exclusive.

[0093] The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for managing a plurality of device switching stations. The plurality of device exchange stations are for users to exchange energy storage devices (such as batteries). The method disclosed in this disclosure can be implemented by a server connected to the plurality of device switching stations through a network. In some embodiments, empirical information (empiricaldata, historical information about battery exchange situations, such as the number of batteries actually exchanged...

Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and associated systems for managing a plurality of device-exchange stations. The method includes, for example, (1) receiving empirical information regarding exchanges of energy storage devices from each of the plurality of device-exchange stations in an initial time period; (2) determining a target time period; (3) identifying a plurality of reference factors and associated weighting values based on empirical information regarding exchanges of energy storage devices; (4) determining demand information during the target time period for each of the plurality of device-exchange stations during the target time period for each of the device-exchange stations; and (5) forming a plurality of charging plans for each of the plurality of device-exchange stations according to demand information during the target time period. Accordingly, the systems and the methods can provide satisfactory battery experience through an energy saving manner.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to a system and method for managing a switching station of a plurality of switchable energy storage devices. More particularly, a system and method for managing a plurality of switching stations for swappable energy storage devices by providing charging schedules for the swappable energy storage devices based on predicted demand. Background technique [0002] Some electric vehicles are powered by swappable batteries. For these electric vehicles, having a fully charged battery available when the user wants to swap the battery is an important factor in providing a satisfactory user experience. However, charging these batteries and maintaining their state of charge can require significant amounts of energy. Unnecessary charging and maintenance of unnecessary state of charge can negatively affect the cost-effectiveness and energy-efficiency of a charging system. In addition, the number of users and exchange pools changes f...
