Abstract

The application of the SNORD16 gene in the preparation of a colon cancer detection kit and related kits belong to the field of biotechnology. In order to excavate and identify prognostic biomarkers of high-risk patients and to explore new molecular mechanisms of the pathogenesis of colon cancer, the present invention provides the application of SNORD16 gene in the preparation of colon cancer detection kits. The nucleotide sequence of the SNORD16 gene is as shown in SEQ ID No. .1 shown. The kit is used for colon cancer diagnosis and / or prognosis assessment; compared with normal paracancerous tissues, the SNORD16 gene is highly expressed in colon cancer cells or tissues. The invention also provides related detection kits.
