Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, the methods to prevent and control starfish outbreaks mainly include manual removal and cleaning, underwater robot injection, and bait capture. Manual removal and cleaning refers to the removal of starfish attached to coral reefs by divers diving into the seabed. This method only It can effectively control short-lived and small-scale starfish outbreaks, but for large-scale and large-scale outbreaks, it seems to have more than enough power, and manual cleaning of starfish poses a greater safety hazard to divers on the seabed; underwater robot injection refers to t...

Embodiment

[0035] see figure 1 , a device for catching starfish on coral reefs in the illustration is an embodiment of the present invention, including three parts: a hull 1, a grasping system 2 and an injection system 3, and the hull 1 carries the grasping system 2 and the injection system 3 for navigation From the sea surface to the sea area where the coral reef is located, the operator manipulates the grasping system 2 and the injection system 3 on the hull 1 to inject the starfish on the coral reef on the bottom of the sea and grasp and catch them. The grabbing system 2 specifically includes a base 21, a lifting arm 22, a hoisting rope 23, a catch bracket 24, a support chain 25, a temporary storage cylinder 26, a grabbing mechanical arm 27, and a mechanical gripper 28; the injection system 3 specifically includes Syringe 31 , injection robot arm 32 , needle 33 and reagent flow tube 34 .

Abstract

The invention discloses a device for capturing starfishes on coral reefs. The device comprises a ship body and a grabbing system and an injection system which are arranged on the ship body, wherein the injection system comprises an injection mechanical arm mounted on the ship body and an injector attached to the injection mechanical arm and used for injecting medicaments to the starfishes on the coral reefs; and the grabbing system comprises a lifting suspension arm mounted on the ship body and a grabbing mechanical arm which is lifted to be below the sea surface through the lifting suspensionarm, and the motion end part of the grabbing mechanical arm is provided with a mechanical gripper for grabbing and capturing the starfishes injected with the medicaments. The device is starfish removal equipment which is high in capture efficiency and friendly to the coral reef environment, and has the remarkable technical effect for remediating the coral reef ecological environment by controlling the starfishes on the coral reefs.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to marine ecological environment management technology, in particular to a device for catching sea stars on coral reefs. Background technique [0002] Coral reefs are one of the marine ecosystems with extremely high biological productivity and biodiversity. They have the highest biodiversity and productivity among all marine ecosystems. There are about 900,000 species of organisms. Although the area accounts for only 0.2% of the world's marine ecosystems, However, their value and the services they provide account for 2.85% of marine ecosystems, showing the global contribution of coral reefs. Hundreds of millions of people currently live near coral reefs. Coral reefs provide a source of food for local residents and a place for recreation and entertainment for divers. [0003] Due to typhoon weather, reduction of coral reef fish, global warming, human activities and other factors, starfish have experienced large-scale outbreaks in ...
