Abstract

The invention relates to an image processing method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The image processing method comprises the following steps: determining a dirty area of a display area, and calculating the proportion of the dirty area in the display area; acquiring first image data of the dirty area of the image frame to be updated and displayed and second image data of thedirty area of the currently displayed image frame, and performing similarity detection on the first image data and the second image data to generate a similarity detection result; and determining whether to update the image frame to be updated and displayed to the display area according to the similarity detection result and the proportion of the dirty area in the display area, and shielding an update request for the image frame to be updated and displayed when the image frame to be updated and displayed is not updated. The dynamic frame adjusting effect of the display area is achieved in themode of intercepting Vyscn signals for the system, and therefore the power consumption of GPU and CPU drawing is reduced.
