The method comprises: constructing an electricity and gas storage configuration model and a scheduling model according to the microgrid operation model containing the P2G unit; the power storage and gas storage configuration model adopting a particle swarm optimization algorithm to configure rated capacities of the power storage device and the gas storage device; the scheduling model adopting a differential evolution algorithm and taking the minimum daily operation cost of the microgrid as a target function to charge and discharge the power of the power storage device; adjusting the charging and discharging power, the electricity selling power, the electricity purchasing power and the load transferring power of the gas storage device and the input power of the P2G equipment, a target function value serving as an adaptive value to be returned to the electricity storage and gas storage configuration model, and then optimally configuring the electricity storage and gas storage device according to the adaptive value.
