The invention discloses a learning style portrait generation method and system based on learning growth data. The method comprises the following steps of: collecting learning growth data, wherein the learning growth data comprises user attribute data and multi-dimensional user behavior data which are acquired from a plurality of data sources; characterizing the learning growth data to obtain a user behavior characterization matrix; inputting the user behavior representation matrix into a pre-trained user feature extraction model, wherein the user feature extraction model is based on a neural network and is used for outputting a user behavior feature vector matrix; and multiplying the user behavior feature vector matrix by a learning feature vector, and taking the multiplied matrix as a user learning style portrait. The multi-dimensional user behavior data can be obtained by using multiple data sources, so that the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the learner portrait are improved, and scientific education decision, individuation of learning modes, humanization of teaching management and comprehensiveness of an evaluation system are driven.
