Abstract

An air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a housing in which a suction port and a discharge port on the lower side of the suction port are formed; a heat exchanger for heat-exchanging outside air flowing into the inside of the housing through the suction port; a blower fan disposed on the lower side of the heat exchanger and rotating by a rotating shaft formed in the left-right direction so as to convey air inside the housing from the suction port to the discharge port; a lower guide for guiding the air flowing to the lower side of the blower fan by the blower fan to the discharge port; an upper guide disposed at a distance from the lower guide on the upward side and forming a discharge flow path with the lower guide; and a sterilization device disposed on one side of the lower guide and having a sterilization lamp for irradiating ultraviolet light toward the blower fan, the lower end portion of the sterilization lamp being disposed lower than the upper surface of the lower guide.
