The backlight source comprises at least two substrates correspondingly arranged on the same plane and a plurality of first light-emitting elements, wherein the first light-emitting elements are arranged on the same side surfaces of the at least two substrates; the backlight source further comprises a second light-emitting element, the second light-emitting element is arranged in a gap between the two adjacent substrates and clamped by the two adjacent substrates, and the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element are both electrically connected with circuits on the surfaces of the substrates. A first chip on film is further arranged on the face, back on to the first light-emitting element, of the substrate, the first chip on film is electrically connected with a circuit on the surface of the substrate through the wiring hole, and the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element are driven through the first chip on film.
