Abstract

The focusing position regulating method and system is used in regulating the focusing position of optical read / write device for reading optical storing medium. The optical storing medium is provided with one header and one recording field. The optical read / write device produces one focusing error signal for controlling the focusing of the optical pickup head. The focusing position regulating method is that after the optical read / write device tracks close loop, the focusing position is so regulated that the deviation value of the focusing error signal in the header and the recording field is within some preset range. The system includes one deviation value detecting module for detecting the deviation value and one focusing control module for regulating the focusing position.
