Abstract

The present invention belongs to the field of functional composite material, is especially one kind of composite granular nanometer metal shell/silica core material and its preparation process and use, and relates to method of solving the coagulation problem of nanometer powder of the nanometer metal shell/silica core grains. Nanometer silver shell produced in thermal decomposition reaction is compounded and assembled to the surface of nanometer silica grain to form the composite shell/core material. Nanometer silver coated silica has combined characteristics of both silver and silica, and has light weight, optical non-linearity and low radiance.
