Abstract

This invention discloses a method for P-P calling of multimedia terminal in two private networks. Wherein, adding a multimedia gateway device on public network to divert the said P-P calling to the calling to multimedia gateway; then, creating H.245 channel accorded to H.323 protocol with private network terminals by multimedia gateway for capacity interactive, master-salve decision and creating logic channel; finally, the multimedia gateway transposes the information between two private network terminals and realizes the P-P calling. The transposition process is transparent to user that needs no any information of network structure. The method supports all NAT type.
