Abstract

A hydraulic transmission device for stamping machines or metal forming machines is disclosed, with a working cylinder (2) having a plurality of pressure chambers (6, 8), the piston (4) of which acts directly or indirectly on a workpiece to be processed , wherein, for the movement of the piston (4) in and out, tank pressure or supply pressure is applied to at least one pressure chamber (6) of the working cylinder (2) via a continuously adjustable valve (10) with a valve arrangement (26) , which is placed in front of the continuously adjustable valve (10) and through which a higher or lower supply pressure can be applied to the input connection pipe E of the continuously adjustable valve (10), wherein the valve setting (26 ) has a reversing valve (26) which can be switched between a basic position and a reversing position depending on the load pressure on the working cylinder (2) in order to tap the supply from the low pressure source (ND) or the high pressure source (HD) pressure.
