Embodiment Construction

[0033] The present invention is directed to layered coded sources. There are many methods of layered coding for images and videos. For example, wavelet transform can be used for images, and the scalable source encoder of H.263 / 264 can be used for videos. For details, see the literature (ITU-T H263 , Video coding for low bit rate communication).

[0034]The information distribution method based on the incremental fountain of the present invention is characterized in that the method is implemented in the digital integrated circuit chip at the sending end according to the following steps:

[0035] Step (1) Input the layered coded data sequence into a data splitter, the layered coded data sequence is expressed as: D 1 1 , D 2 1 , · · · , D L 1 , D ...

Abstract

The present invention relates to an information distribution method based on the incremental fountain, and belongs to the technical field of wireless data transmission. The information distribution method has the following characteristics: a data splitter is used at the transmitting end for arranging the data of the same layer number in the layered and encoded data sequence, so as to form a branch; the sum of the branches is the sum of the layers; a weighting sequence is designed according to the principle of smaller layer number and higher degree of importance; a scheduling parameter calculator is used for calculating the scheduling parameters of each layer in each original data block; the scheduling parameters are transmitted to a scheduling device, which is used for controlling the work of the fountain encoder of different layers according to different probabilities, so as to complete different types of redundancy protection of different layers, thus the system has the capacity of adapting to complex and changeable states of the channel. The method can be used for effective data distribution of no feedback and low redundancy in the poor channel.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an information distribution method based on an incremental fountain, and belongs to the technical field of wireless data transmission. Background technique [0002] Data distribution refers to the process by which a data provider transmits data to several users who need the data. A data provider is generally a communication terminal capable of sending data, also called an information center or a sending end, while a user is a communication terminal capable of receiving data, also called a receiving end. Usually there is only one information center, but there are several users, so data distribution is usually a point-to-multipoint communication. There are currently several ways to realize this point-to-multipoint communication. [0003] 1. Multiple unicasts are used. In this way, the information center implements data distribution by establishing multiple point-to-point unicasts with each user. Since each unicast communicati...
