Abstract

The present invention discloses an image illumination correcting method based on color gamut mapping. The brightness of input image and R, G, B values after color space decomposition are separated and processed. Then, the brightness obtained by brightness enhancement calculation is multiplied by the R, G, B values after color space decomposition for restoring the image after illumination correction. The color space decomposition and brightness enhancement can increase the image contrast, better retains the color of original image and does not increase the noise of image. Simultaneously the illumination correction method adopted by the invention processes based on the pixel of image. The image switching and counting of image information are not required. The computing complexity is reducedand the hardware realization of the method is facilitated. Additionally, a complementary operation of image is adopted for high-brightness illumination environment so that the brightness enhancement operation has better versatility and can simultaneously process a plurality of complex illumination conditions.

Description

A Method of Image Illumination Correction Based on Color Gamut Mapping technical field The present invention relates to the technical field of image processing, in particular to an image illumination correction method based on color gamut mapping for processing image color enhancement and correction under bright and dark scene illumination. Background technique Many image and video acquisition devices, such as digital cameras, video cameras, etc., when collecting image signals, because the image is formed by the reflection of light, there is often a phenomenon that the light source is not evenly illuminated on the scene, so that the part with strong light Brighter, the part with weak light is darker, resulting in uneven lighting of the environment, or the light is darker, or the light is brighter. In order to avoid this phenomenon of darker or brighter light, it can be compensated by adjusting the exposure time. However, the existing image signal acquisition equipment ca...
