Abstract

The method comprises thefollowing steps: dynamically adjusting the bandwidth of each service path in at least more than two service path protection groups with the same source and destination nodes, and allowing the destination nodes to switch the path receiving the services from the service paths suffering from first faults to the service paths with the lowest priority when the destination nodes detect that other service paths except the service paths with the lowest priority suffer from first faults. The system comprises a dynamic adjusting module, destination nodes and source nodes. By establishing the path protection groups with the same source and destination nodes and dynamically adjusting the bandwidth of each service path in the protection groups, the invention solves the problem that the transport networks with bandwidth being dynamically adjusted can not be effectively protected in the prior art, improves the reliability of the transmission network performance and simultaneously increases the resource utilization ratio of the bandwidth.
