Abstract

An image correction apparatus reduces unnaturalness resulting from a light-source state by execution of separating captured image data into luminance data and color-difference data, converting the color-difference data into a set of amplitude values in a spatial frequency domain, detecting a light-source state when the image data is captured, correcting the set of amplitude values based on the light-source state so that a predetermined amplitude value is decreased, inversely converting the set of amplitude values which is corrected to produce corrected color-difference data, and generating corrected image data from the corrected color-difference data and the luminance data.

Description

technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to an image correction device and an image correction method for correcting a photographed image captured by an imaging device. Background technique

[0002] Conventionally, as the technique described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2008-052428 , there is known an image correction device for a photographed image photographed in a photographing environment where a plurality of light sources such as sunlight or illumination light exist. This image correction device divides a photographed image into a plurality of regions, and performs different image correction processing for each region. In this way, the image correction device can reduce the influence on the photographed image due to the presence of a plurality of light sources at the time of photographing, and can obtain a preferable corrected image.

[0003] However, since the image correction apparatus described above corrects the photographed image for each region, t...
