Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for eliminating neighbor cell interference. The method comprises the following steps of: separating an inner ring area and an outer ring area from a base station coverage area; mutually negotiating occupied frequency bands by neighbor base stations so that occupied frequency bands of respective outer ring areas are mutually different; transmitting a detecting signal to a terminal in the coverage area by the base station; judging the type of the user which corresponds to the terminal on the basis of a feedback signal generated by responding the detecting signal through the terminal, wherein the user is an inner ring user or an outer ring user; and applying the frequency band which corresponds to the type of the user by the base station on the basis of a judging result of the user type.
